Tap4Contact is provided as a free utility on an “as is” and “as available” basis. You are responsible for reviewing, testing, and maintaining the information, links, QR codes, and materials you create with it.

Appropriate use

Do not use Tap4Contact to impersonate another person or organization, mislead recipients, distribute unlawful or harmful material, infringe rights, or direct people to deceptive destinations.

Public information

A finalized hub is intended to be shared. Its information is encoded in the hub URL. Do not include confidential, sensitive, or private information that should not be available to recipients or systems involved in delivering the link.

No remote updating

Finalized hubs do not automatically update. If information changes, generate and distribute a replacement link and QR code. You are responsible for removing or replacing outdated QR codes in printed and digital material.

Availability and compatibility

Browser, Home Screen, QR scanning, offline, calling, email, photo, and external-link behavior varies by device, operating system, browser, network, and third-party service. Test your final hub and QR code in the circumstances where customers will use them.

No warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tap4Contact and TapMagik disclaim warranties and liability for losses arising from use, interruption, outdated information, failed links, printing, scanning, third-party resources, or reliance on a generated hub.
