No Tap4Contact contact database
The builder operates in your browser. The current working draft is saved in local browser storage on your device. Tap4Contact does not require an account and does not send this builder data to a Tap4Contact contact database.
Published hub links are not private
Finalized contact information is encoded directly in the shareable hub URL. Anyone who receives or scans that URL can view the included information. The URL may also be retained in browser history, messages, QR code files, web-server logs, security systems, or services through which you share it. Include only information intended for public or customer distribution.
Photos and external links
If you provide a remotely hosted photo or logo, the recipient’s browser requests it from that external host, which applies its own privacy practices. Links to websites, booking systems, maps, social networks, or other resources leave Tap4Contact and are governed by their operators.
Local control
You can reset the current project from the builder. Clearing browser data can also remove the working draft. Download a current-project backup first if you need to retain it.
General hosting data
Like most websites, the hosting and security services used to deliver Tap4Contact may process ordinary technical request information such as IP address, browser information, requested URL, and timestamps for operation and abuse prevention.
